C'mon, I've heard him mention Wigan quite a lot since he left and it's clear he loves the club.
In his last season before he left he was a class above anyone in the league playing at prop. So many good memories of Faz, a true Wigan legend. |

He left Wigan after 14 years of service and had achieved everything there was to be achieved in rugby league - the best player in the world. Fair play to him. |

We broke the salary cap that year becuase we continued to pay Faz until he officially wen to Saracens (May I believe), and he didn't play 1 game for us due to his injury.
Taking the man out of it, the issues I have with the way it was handles is the way the news was broke on the opening night of SL. I am embarrassed that Faz, and Wigan allowed that to happen, and allowed his signing to overshadow that opening weekend. All talk was about how attractive RU was.
Faz is still my lads hero, but the way it was all done left me a bit sad tbh. |

one bad move in 14 years of sweating blood for this club..makes the man not wigan through and through.
The facts or he got a unbelievable deal for his age and stage of his career.
Wigan snatched RU hands off when offered the deal. |

I am sure there will be a real test of his loyalty in times to come regards where his coaching career takes him and perhaps Owen, but what cannot be denied is his passion, pride and leadership of Wigan Warriors. It is a shame for me that he never quite produced his domestic form on the International level but he was without doubt an integral part of the Wigan machine for easily a decade.
A joy to watch, i am sure he will be missed by the Sarries fans, but not half as much as he has been by us.

| Farrell gave the club 14 years of service from the age of 16 and was one of the clubs most inspirational and longest serving captains in it's history. He won almost every cup available and was a representative of GB/England for nearly as long as his club career.
Aged 30 he had the opportunity to try a different sport that had different achievements as well as one last large financial offer that he will probably never be offered again. When you take everything into account, I can't see how anybody can talk about Farrell in a negative way or question his loyalty to Wigan.

Living Legend!! Simple as that. Played with more passion than the other 12 players on the team put together especially in the late 90's and early 00's. He carried us for a good few years.
