To be fair, there are a good 500+ expat Wiganers who live in the smoke and roll up for this game as well. If you add the 2,500 Quins fans and the 1,500/2,000 that will travel, I see a maximum of 5,500 for this game.
This means that some Wigan fans will get seats in the north stand behind the stix.
That said, if you lose to Castleford on Friday, you might only get 1,000 willing to travel down.

What are people's plans on here? Buying tickets or paying on the day? I've no problem with sitting in the end of the ground, just wondering where the best craic is going to be.

Pay on the day. Most Wigan fans will be in the East stand opposite the tunnel probably.

You have been allocated AB and AC (see below) and I think AA is for walkup fans. The plan is that IF there are enough people, then the north stand will open.

£5 difference in price between block AB and AC seems very steep to me.

I don't have a problem with paying more for a more central view, but you could be paying £5 more than the person sat on the other side of the gangway to you.

I think ill be paying £15 as we got to pay around £25 for a coach to get down there.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get down there, I don't even particularly mind the time spent getting there, but Harlequins away is something I don't think I'll ever manage. It costs too much and if I had the extra money I'd go to Murrayfield Magic or Wembley.

Quick question!

Am I being unreasonable?

I went to the stadium this afternoon to see about Quins tickets. I asked for confirmation that the tickets they had were for reserved or unreserved seating. The response was “reserved seating” I was informed that the only had about 20 tickets left but were expecting about 100 more to arrive soon from the Quins.

I asked if I could pick were I wanted to sit and the block. I was told you can pick the block i.e. £15Ticket or £20 Ticket. I said that I wanted to pick were I wanted to sit, but was told I couldn’t. When I asked why, I was informed that they just took the tickets off the pile as they come, so couldn’t tell me were I was going to sit within the stand.

After speaking to my mate who may be going down to the game with me said that he had never head of that before. He said that when travels away watching his football team he can log onto his teams site and pick the Block and Seat he wants at away matches.

What I’m getting at is why have reserved seating if you can’t pick your seat and sit in the area you want? I could get a seat next to the £15 ones therefore should of only paid £15

Apparently we are sharing with Quins fans now in just 1 open stand so I guess the reserved element is so we don't sit in Quins season ticket holders seats. I too would prefer to sit in an area of choice though.

Will I be able to pay £15 on the day?

How come mate? It's £20 for the better seats. Given the wing seats are £15, behind the goal I assume will be open and no more than £15

Its RESERVED seating so if you want sit gether you have to buy together. This is because Quins are only opening 1 stand (the long bar stand) for both sets of fans.

How feable is this?!?!? One of london's biggest games of the season and they can only open one stand!!!!! How long can we let this embarressment go on in rugby league.....its time the quins ship up or ship out IMO...even salford, wakefield, or celtic would be ashamed of this!!
