You started this season as the greatest team ever and you get a few injuries so every time you lose you blame it on-

Now you are top of the league because you have won more than anyone so why the constant bleating about players missing that is why people are laughing at your lot.
If you do win the GF fair play, in your eyes it will be fantastic because of your injuries if you lose it will be because of said injuries.

See what you did there,no one and I mean no one has said that Wigan would beat the Australian National team or any team from Australia but from your side of the hill it has been said you could beat any team anywhere also noted that you have the best players from 1-17 and Wigan are bang average .

And if you hadnt noticed with a new coach we have won the CC in his first season (coach of the year is my prediction).So maybe yes we have improved that much.

That side had two previous MOS, an England international centre and two guys who I think could make this years dream team (Smith and Marshall). Yet they didn't score a single point in 80 mins.

The guy was an absolute fraud of a coach.

Isn't that proving the opposite to what you're saying FTV? That we were nilled even with a very strong backline shows that it wasn't down to injuries but either poor coaching or poor form. I can't see how that has anything to do with injuries.

We were without French and others at the start of this season but the difference was marked compared to last.

The gap has massively closed largely due to us chopping and changing every week.

To be 4 points clear after losing the best scrum half in the country and all the subsequent injuries and bans is testament to our consistency.

Don't get me wrong, Dodds looks a great prospect but at the moment that's all he is, a kid in his first season as a first team starter.
He may have handled the pressure brilliantly or he may have been burned out halfway through the season, who knows, not having any real back-up at half back is a big error on Saints part.
Keep on saying it, if Saints pack can't bully the opposition into submission you've got nothing, almost as clueless as we were last season

Take Lomax and Welsby out and neither would you! Simple fact is, those players are in our squad (although French missed the 1st 7 games of the season and has still scored most tries by a distance). Show me a side that doesn’t play to their strengths and I’ll show my hoop at the town hall. Your side simply lacks the depth that we have. You lost Dodd and struggled to replace him. We lost Leuluai and up steps Harry Smith. There’s your difference.
