I would love to see Chase at Wigan. He just has some individual, off the cuff flair that I like about him and it is something I think we're missing in our very structured, mechanical ways. It would allow Sam to remain at fullback too.

Agreed, Deacs and Finch are too similair. We need a half who has pace, can take the line on, and threaten to break through.

With our attack you know Finch/Deacs arent gunna break, so teams (wire) just double up on stopping Sam

We need to start playing him there then! This is where Piggy going has hit us imo.

If we are to leave Tommy at 9 next season we must either bring in a halfback who has some pace and running ability or give Joe Mellor a crack.

Leeds Rhinos have granted a release request by props Ben Cross and Luke Burgess so they can speak to other clubs as they bid to secure first team rugby.

Take burgess young Brit but cross nah not a fan he's a dirty cheap shot merchant don't want someone like that at wigan bad enough having limas bad discipline.

Talk about a stroke of luck Cross wanting to leave. He's dire.

As for Burgess he's bound for the NRL.

I cant beleive that Peacock would push Luke Burgess out the squad. He is 2 years well past his sell by date.

Cross is just an aussie meathead who like to bully smaller players.

Ben Cross is free to talk to other clubs - if he finds one he can leave.

Luke Burgess is available to loan for the remainder of the season and then at the end of the year he will head to the NRL.

I'd play Mellor alongside Finch, with Logan Tomkins spelling Leuluai at hooker.

It would be brave to do that but why not. We've got the best juniors in the business and these are 2 of the best we've got. I think Saints have proved that giving young lads a crack can work aslong as they have some experience around them and we'd have that.

Ideally I'd like to sign either a halfback or hooker but would be excited to see your idea in action.

I don't know why people are so hell-bent on keeping Sam at FB. He is a half back!

Sam and Rangi Chase in the halves with TL at hooker is a much better proposition that Sam at FB, Chase TL halves and MM at hooker.

I can see where you are coming from though, maybe we are promoting too many youngsters at the same time? a good sign for our youth system though

Shame we couldnt replace coley with another prop, give some experience on the bench that way?
