TBH from down the other end it looked like the line was begging but at least that explains it. I said to my dad that I would be suprised if he missed 3 easy chances with the form hes in.

Not usually one to have ago at the ref and his assistants, but in the second half some of your passes were so far forward it was untrue. Anyway you deserved to win, Pat Richards is sheer class and any team in the world would be lucky to have him. That pass from Tomkins for you last try was out of this world and that was the difference IMO you had that killer punch and we didn't, but i'm so so proud of us today. hopefully we'll carry our recent form into the cup game in France on Saturday!!!!!

You'll definitely shock a few this year if you perform like you did today. I predicted a hard tough game and that's exactly what we got. Probably one of our toughest games all year as it was a real gutsy performance.

I was very impressed with how much your out wide defence has improved, from the leaky sieve of the recent past. Not only did you keep Goulding out, those two tries on the left needed two superb cutout passes and still work to do for Pat to get over.

Wrote that when I was still pi$$ed off with him, think I wrote somewhere else he was bad for both teams, he was awful for Offside though

I was right in front of it mate and it was brilliant defending, but Wigan kept giving it Goulding when he wasn't calling for it and when he was calling for it they wasn't giving it him.

it's difficult to judge the offside from behind the posts but it looked a very short 10 meters even from there.

Penalty count was 11 - 8 to Salford, but two of the ones given to Wigan were late on. Alibert has a certain reputation for evening things out at the back end of the game.
