Re the new pub next to the ground. Ale is good. Marstons pedigree £2 80 a pint.

Goose and George and Dragon at Leigh bus station are both great real ale pubs.

I think we will be in the George not the Goose, but that could change, we will no doubt all make our way to the new pub later though.

There has been nothing on the Leythers board, or from the club to say that there will be a cash turnstyle. Not saying it won't happen but no has said anything. Get thee early and get a ticket. There are four places to eat ( five with morrisons cafe) right by the ground and in the club bar it is only £2.80 a pint, so they say. Can't vouch for the quality of the pint though. Get your pie eating backsides to Leigh for a bit of culture.

As TV BOY says don't know if there will be a cash turnstile on there isn't normally, but you can get a ticket from the ticket office on the day, hope that helps, see you all Sunday.

I beleive that the price for a standard ticket is £13.

What is the standard price at Leigh, it seems a little steep for an under 19's friendly.

It depends on how much you need a RL fix, hopefully 1000 or so need one so a 3000 gate is generated, but you sure have some old 19's taking the field who will also be pulling on your first team shirt during the season.

Think you can pay on the day - my Lad's playing in a curtain raiser, Pats v Miners. We've been told to pay at the turnstile.

Don't think general public will be able to pay at the turnstiles Donna, pretty certain you will need to get a ticket from the ticket office as per usual at the LSV. It maybe because your sons playing they are letting you pay on the gate.

According to Paul Rowley Leigh have been in discussion with Shaun Wane and he said he's going to send a good mixture of young and experienced players as he doesn't want the game to be one sided either way, he wants it to be competitive.

Neither Shaun Wane, nor Paul Rowley would have gained anything from you turning out your first team - it would have been embarrassing for you to be beaten, and there would have been the danger of us 'peaking' (much) too soon in the season!

I think the more time to better to be honest. Wouldn't really hurt to give them half a game together. Is the Salford friendly still expected to be played? I assumed it would be cancelled
