Point taken on the semi finals. I think people are getting carried away though. Wigan have their best side for a good while but in recent years Bradford,Sts and Leeds can rightly claim to have been the best sides.A couple more pots and then you can start to call the likes of Coley better than average Wigan players.

It's when he can stand comparison with Skerret,Dowling,Platt and Shelford that you can expect him to roll over other teams every week.

And players like Mcillorum may rise to be as good as say Marin Hall but aren't in the same league as Nicky Kiss,Howie Tamati,Martin Dermott or even Terry Newton.

Ahhhh, Howie Tamati the Wigan player who played a total of 29 games for us and won fook all.

I don't recall Steve Ella or Greg Dowling winning anything with Wigan they were still great players (but probably not in your opinion).

I see Huds as genuine challengers this season. Warrington look good atm but the thing is with them is they always die a death in the play-offs. For me Huddersfield could well make OT.

To be fair though, with the exception of last year, when was the last time Warrington had a team who was this good and this close to challenging?

We shouldnt have a problem beating the giants on Sat as our pack will match the giants and we disposed them with ease at the galpharm when we had 7 players out in march.

Anyone who thinks the game on Sat will be easy and we'll walk over them needs their head testing. The giants pack is one of the best in the league and they have some good backs who can finish for fun.

No Brough makes the task a little easier but we'll need to improve our intensity in the ruck area again from Friday to win the game, they won't lie down like Graham (et al) did.

We've been there and done that.....we're after dumping a new team out this year

they seem quite confident of a win on the hudds board, which IMO is surprising seeing as earlier in the year, we easily beat them with half a team out and not even using one sub!

IMO it will be a tough game and too close to call, hopefully our forwards will lay the platform again for Finchy and Deacs to dominate.

We need to bomb Grix/Dodgy/Cudjoe as much as possible, Lockers to banjo Robinson into next week again, and get Mason riled up for a few penaltys... sorted.

One thing Sam, Pat and Josh will have to be wary of, are kicks through to the wings from around 30 metres out. That's a tactic Huddersfield use a hell of a lot.

Big plus for ourselves with O'Donnel and the missing link being out for the Giants. It's gonna be tough, but with Hock returning and emotion to the side that should bring, I'm expecting us to win.

I remember to last year when we played Huddersfield at our place, we should have been 20+ points ahead at halftime. But the amount of try scoring opportunities we bombed that night were unbelievable.

He is right. Best 2 sides by far were Wigan and Wire. Sky have conned us all into thinking the gf is all that matters. It's a joke that neither team is in the final.

Anyone denying Wigan and Warrington were the two best teams this season is deluded.
