Not many the last I heard but I'd expect it to pick up soon. I think neutrals might be torn between the Magic weekend and the WCC, to be honest.

If I was a neutral I'd be going to the Magic Weekend rather than the WCC tbh

Half empty stadium with an overload of meaningless games or a game between the two best sides in the world? No contest IMO.

If anybody is like me, I've not even thought of purchasing tickets over Xmas for a game that is two months away.

Now that the hectic holiday period is over, I'll be looking to purchase my ticket within the next week or so.

Exactly the same. We'll be getting our 7 tickets this week and i'd imagine there will be plenty of others with the same mindset.

It isn't. Pretty much all the ones in the North have been given to the RFL and are shown as sold. I think sales are starting to approach 10k but it's apparently way more than Leeds had sold this time last year.

Same for us. Also got family in Boston coming accross with it being such a huge game even though they havn't been for 5 years. I would imagine many will buy tickets that didn't even attend the GF.

Still not sure of a sell-out though, too many people will be happy watching on tv due to the ticket price.

Exactly. The RFL have gone way over the top with ticket pricing. They should have learned from the 2009 Four Nations. Empty seats at both Doncaster for England v France and at Wigan for England v Australia.

Indeed. Neutrals won't pay £40 for this so to answer the question above - no it won't sell out. Particularly with the Magic Weekend being 2 weeks before it. It could actually sell poorly outside of Wigan.

It will be pretty embarrasing.

I'm still very confident it will sell out, or at least come very close to doing so.

Anything less than 20,000 will be embarrassing, anything less than a sell out at least a week before the match will be disappointing but not a surprise.

We really need to drum up support and get the 'bandwaggoners' along...

i've bought two tickets already. if i wanted to add another one to that but there isn't a single next to the two i alreasy have, how easy is it to move the existing two tickets to another area?

A friend has just telephoned.
He wanted two £40 tickets in the West Stand. He tried Wigan but was told to contact the RFL.

When he telephoned the RFL the £40 West Stand tickets have all been sold, so he had to get the £30 ones.

Looking good.

I would expect the West stand to be part reserved for sponsors, RFL exec and any touring Australians.
