Please, please don't buy that Saints & Leeds players don't get on stuff.
If Tony Smith had picked all 22 players from one club and they played that poorly and lost that badly there'd be a split in the dressing room and big time.
If they'd been winning they'd have been ok.
Trouble is that was never going to happen. The players are not good enough, Smith was hopeless with no attack tactics, no spirit and a defence that wasn't worthy of the description. The RFL are about to whitewash the whole thing by a "report" into the England performance.
We are so far behind the NRL now it's unreal.
Prior to Super League GB won 1 in 3 v the Aussies.
Now it's one in fourteen against them.

When I saw them they were constantly in their own little groups so there could be truth in it yet I would hope the coach would be able to sort that out.

Going back is an understatment, we are absoulutely lightyears behind Saints and Leeds now, any Wigan fan who gave us a prayer of winning anything before the season started was seriously delluded. We lost our one and only match winner and didnt replace him. Noble has to be blamed, iv got nothing against him, when he came in, he turned us round after the Millward era, but now, I think its time for change, I cant see us going forward at all under Noble now.

The problem with our game is simple and can be summarised in one statement:

Tim Smith instead of Sam Tomkins.

Riddell instead of McIlorum

Bailey instaed of Joel Tomkins.

Too many under performing aussies preventing the young British tallent from getting their chance.

I agree with him. Half of our Aussie born players are mercenaries.

Look at Saints. Fair enough they have Meli who is gash, but Gidley, Cayless, Puletua. Do they have British players who are better/as good as them? I don't think so.

I'm not a big Bailey fan, but when he doesn't play we concede a lot of tries.

Flannery is no world beater, if you ask fans from other clubs they'll all name overseas players in their squads they are/have been disappointed with.

Because Noble requests / approves the players (in conjunction with IL) and because our lack of plan b is down to the coaching staff (of which BN is head).

It's not neccessarily the jibes from the Saints/Wire supporters that bother me, it's having to speak to those who genuinally want to know what's wrong and me having to go into depth about the current situation and I always end up going into rant for about half an hour which ends up being repeated about 10 times a day.

Ill get laughed at tomorrow at work. Luckily though, I work with Leythers so I always claim victory

I recently arranged for about nine lads from work (Bolton) to go to the Stains Derby Match, then a night out round Wigan, 7 of them never been before.

These lads are concerned, asking what the hells going on (and this was before Friday).

Even though ticket money has been taken, I'm half expecting some of them to say they are not bothering with the game!

I think I'll throw a sickie.

Ok I’m a touch worried here and this is probably my first and only serious post on the Wigan forums. You like me love your rugby. My love of rugby really shone through me when I quit a job in Italy just because I couldn’t catch Leeds on tv playing in the Grand Final.

Even sadder the night Leeds beat you in the play offs (sorry for introducing yet more negativity to this thread but your lost is a part of my obsession) I rang back home twenty times to see how Leeds were doing whilst they was a beach party going on near by. In fact if I had the money that night I would of got a £40 phone card and asked my parents to put it near the TV so I could hear Stevo and Eddie commentate on the game.

Since coming back from Italy I’ve deeply regretted coming home because it just seemed that I lived for the weekend when the rugby was on. I wasn’t even that jubilant when Leeds won the Grand Final just pleased. Thankfully I’ve sorted my life out since that debacle although some of you might want to argue that.

A Rugby League match is where you get to be with mates, relatives or both and watch a decent game of rugby league. Throw a pint and a burger in with that as well if that’s your thing. Anything else is a bonus and we all get our chances to archive that bonus.
