We buy ours so we keep our seats. We have already missed 3 games this year due to fixture changes so including the cheap Huddersfield tickets could have saved money not getting a season ticket. If you take the cup priority from the season tickets and miss 2-3 games and get tickets from the big one discounted, there is no point in having one is there?

Frankly I don't care to scroll back a few pages, you said on this thread you go to games when its warmer I was merely suggesting a win win solution for you. (Which puzzles me when I believe Odsal this year was the coldest game of the year)

For what its worth I'm a season ticket holder but didn't go to Odsal due to family reasons, I did however go to France so does this let me off the hook??

I'm sorry but for EVER season ticket holders have got priority. Your points system sounds good but I doubt it would happen there's way to many factors to consider. What if your at a disability where you can get to home games as you have the assistance but don't have this for away games?

Season ticket sales allow the clubs finincial structure to maintain and to provide forcasting year on year; hence season ticket holders gain benefits.

i dont enjoy only being able to go in warmer weather....its something i dont have a choice over.

im referring to the Odsal cup game.....i didnt go to the league game.

thats the way it is and as been for as long as I remember. Season ticket holders get priority everyone knows that at the beginning of every season. So everyone knows that they take their chance if they dont purchase season tickets/membership if a farce like this occurs where they pick a venue which is not adequate in my opinion. People have different reasons for buying season tickets, not being able to go to all the games etc doesnt make them any less of a fan in my opinion.

Rugby League as a sport cannot afford to have this mentality. We moan about the death of the cup, and then say we should have a reward system to stop people going. We finally get demand for tickets and guess what - the rfl give us two weeks to sell 5 thousand tickets. Pathetic. A sport played by lions - lead by dogs.

What gets me is they put a double header 4 nations on at Wembley and they choose the Halliwell Jones to stage the biggest derby in rugby league in a semi final of a cup which is arguably the best event in rugby league

they should have 2 venues already booked at the start of the season and be selling them online from day dot like all other well ran sports do. A venue either side of the pennines and sorted!

Just been and got a couple of tickets now with not one person infront of me atall.

The south stand total is around the 2500 mark now, so id imagine theres around 1.5k to go on general sale tomorrow morning.

Exactly, they couldnt book grounds in advance because you wouldnt know up until 2 weeks before who was in it.

Mentioned this the other day but imo the format of the comp has to change so that the semis fall june/early july and then if we get one of these glamour ties that could potentaially bring in a big crowd then there's more chance of using one of the football/shared grounds because there would be atleast a month/6 weeks before the start of the football season.
