Just received my 2012 Home Shirt in the post today. What are people's impressions of it now they have seen it in the flesh. Must admit I thought it looked a lot better in pictures. Looks a lot more Red in the pictures rather than Cherry and it also has this horrible advertising on the back which has ruined it IMO. 'J K GUEST GROUP' is the advert and makes the back of the shirt look awful as mine hasn't been ironed on very well.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

Has the 'fans' shirt got a white box on the back for name and numbers?

If it's like the one that Lockers was modelling at the shirt launch then no it hasn't it also looked a differnt colour to the ones that Chris Tuson and H were modelling too.

Got ours today, and yes, it's a darker red than in the players pictures, but in my view it's more of a cherry shade - so we can hardly moan. I'm pleased with it - except for the badge, which is a bit crap. Don't understand why we can get a fully embroidered Magners logo, but not badge. Happy that the hoops go all the way round - I'm perilously close to 40, and wouldn't have a name/number, and the white box would look odd without it.

And yes, you do have to have the sponsor on the back. When I got mine they were already on the adult shirts, but were putting them on the kids shirts as you bought them. I asked for it to be left off & was told they couldn't, which is understandable given the company has paid money to be on the shirt. It won't get in the way of player names - they go below it (as in the picture with SW, Radders, and the bloke who I thought was a new prop until I read the article!)

tbh i think the iron on sponsor sticker on the back look tacky

i compared them on the racks, and settled for 2 without, only to find they were sticking them on.

lets have sponsors on the front and sleeves....but leave the back alone...it looks out of place..and cheap
