Briers overrated? I think you'll find the aussies called him 'the best britsh half back they had seen in ten years' when he played for wales against them. But obviously when GB has talent like pryce, Mcguire, Burrow and long you can't really expect someone of Briers' limited ability to get a number of caps.

Briers is a great player with the ball. However he is a defensive liability. In the last two seasons he has missed over 25% of his tackles. That is what has stopped him being an International player.

Clearly what is "success" is judged different between the clubs as yours is based on the glory days of 80s and 90s.

The Dire are clearly more successful than us - for a start they play at least two cup finals every year (against us).
