The way wigan fans say they are our cup final really winds me up. It makes it sound as though they think they are a challenge to us, when really we already know over the past few years, and more importantly at this moment in time that we are better than them so wigan is just a normal game. What they should be saying, and the few normal wigan fans out there are thinking, is that there embarrassed because there 80 minutes away from a possible wembley appearance and there ticket allocation is getting lower and lower because there fans haven't bought tickets for it.

Hence the reason for saying it, you plank.

Funny thing is even during our lean times of the past 10+ years we've still won a couple of trophies that Wire could only dream of and have finished above you in nearly every season.

Our bad years are getting to final eliminators and semi finals whereas Wires good years have been beating Wigan in the odd meaningless league game and finishing 4th-8th.

These are facts.

Dont care if Wigan won every trophy going in the past...because thats what it is, the past, its all about the future trophies, and that starts at the halton stadium....bring it on.

im sure you'l find wigan fans on the wire forum most of the time, so explain that? and i actually came on here to see if there were any official numbers of tickets you have sold, to see what the attendance is shaping up to be. hence why i came on a ticket thread. question answered?

Got my ticket, couldn't care less whether there are more Wigan or Wire fans there as long as the atmosphere is good - I'm going for the game and the occasion of a semi final, not a fan counting contest. Hopefully Wigan will win, but I'm not predicting it nor expecting it - we'll just see what happens.

Wire fans are getting more and more desperate with their one upmanship attempts - terrible losers and even worse winners (on the rare occasions).

If they won the semi final and Saints beat Huddersfield, I was going to add my support at Wembley on a one-day only basis, considering the loyalty of some of their core support that hasn't had much success to savour over the years. But at the moment, a vocal minority of their increasingly arrogant and downright bitter fans are making me have a significant rethink - come on Huddersfield, make the choice easy regardless.
