Still on a positive note, if Latics are in Europe, the stadium will probably be referred to as Robin Park anyway by UEFA. Their rules state that the name of any stadium named after a company that is not an official sponsor of a UEFA will not be used in any material relating to that tournament.
The Emirates Stadium is referred to as Arsenal Stadium in UEFA literature, for instance. |

Isn't that's just the "Champions" League as they have 8 or so official sponsors who have to be given all the advertising sites in the stadium? Don't think the same applies to the "Wafer" Cup or Europa League as it will be known next season, although not 100% sure. |
