I know some people don't think much of him, but we must nullify the effect Solomona has on the game when he comes off the bench. If I remember rightly, he ran us ragged the whole time he was on the pitch in the reverse fixture so he needs to be watched.

I'll happily watch him drop the ball just short of the line with seconds left on the clock again!



He did turn the game in their favour when he came on at their place earlier in the season, IIRC. He's a definite threat and I hope we contain him better this time.

1. Stop offloads

2. Shut down Briers, mainly his kicking game

3. Do what we have done well all season

He'd take it all day, unlike you when you play for storm

I'd add Monaghan to that 2nd point too - he controls a game as well as anyone is SL when he's on form.

Add Briers to that list.

Also wind up Paul Potts, he isnt the same player without a cool head.

Wire like to be off the cuff, we have a more structured game plan, keep that and we should take the game.

With ball in hand we are far far better IMO than we were when we played them earlier in the year. I can't see them being able to handle us if we play like we have done and can cut some errors out. I said to my dad last week against salford that I was glad we were making errors because I felt we were getting them out of the way.

Our defence is also better than when we last played wire and they won't be getting easy scores like they did in that game.

1- Destroy their confidence - Kick towards the South if we win the toss, then bomb the living shi'ite out of Mathers with the South Stand putting pressure on Mathers when the ball is in the air 'Woooooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA he's dropped it again etc.

2- Cushion their fire power - First marker shoots from marker when Morley/Carvell is getting the ball, stop them before they have chance to build up any speed

3- Take out their organisation - Second rowers/centres to run at Briers/Monaghan/Myler at every opportunity in the first half

4- Take out their hookers - When Mickey Higham is on the field markers work - one goes, one stays waiting if he scoots. Same goes for Monaghan with the second marker charging Monaghans kicks down if he dummies and kicks the opposite side which he so often does

5 - Wind them up - Solomona, Briers, Anderson brothers are easily wound up, niggly things like pinching behind their arms, bending fingers back, chin pushed into any pressure points or anywhere reallly, knee pushed into pressure point behind the knee, thumbs pushed behind biceps and so on
