Jeez how much strength in depth do we have? We have fringe players out on loan at good clubs all over the place. Very exciting times for Wigan.

I would actually say he's been extremely average this year - one of our worst performing players.

Agreed, he's been solid but he can be miles better.

so chris tuson`s loan deal has been on the cards for a few weeks and the only reason it didnt go through sooner was that cas were playing us last week.Chris obv got the nod because the deal was done almost.Obv cas wanted a look at him at first team level before commiting to it.

I'm happy for our players to go to Cas. Matterson seems a decent coach (and was a superb player!) and Madge knows him well having coached with him, so I would assume is au fait with his methods.

As for the Cas fans; I've always found them fine. Not sure what the animosity from some fans on here is based on. Sure, they're from Yorkshire, which is never a good thing but, seeing as my girlfriend is from Bradford and giving me the evils, perhaps I should shut up now....

Well he was at Blackpool, but only played 1 match.

Personally I agree with Rogues Gallery. He's behind Liam Farrell in my view and that Farrell would probably have played ahead of him last week had he not played on the Thursday for Widnes.

Although the above comes across as being very harsh, I can't help but agree. I've been disappointed with Leuluai so far this year.

I said a couple of weeks ago that Leuluai's form this season has been abit of a worry. Maybe he's being told to just keep it simple but he doesn't seem his explosive best at all.

Hopefully he'll hit top gear against Leeds this week.

Its all good loaning the players out imo, we can get the players back if they become good enough for our first team. They can also help the teams theyre on loan to when theyre playing our rivals near the top of the league

Yes I was going to post that, it was a bit of a laugh with Cas and Leigh fans a couple of years ago burning an old Wigan shirt. Nothing major that should affect players going on loan!

Good deal with Wigan and the lad again you've done some good business this season. I feel Wigan will benefit hugely when all these loanee's come back. I don't know how Tuson in on loan at a SL club and Davies and Farrell are at Widnes but time will tell with how he copes.

To be honest, I can't see Chris Tuson being a first team regular at Wigan. Good, solid player but doesn't have that Xfactor about him. I hope he proves me wrong.

I wouldn't be suprised if this loan deal with Castleford is a way of giving them an opportunity to see Tuson's ability before offering him as part of a deal for Shenton if the rumours that we're interested are true.

Im not too sure if they would take Feka though because a lot of their fans seemed to think that they were trying to offload big earners to help fund the stadium plans. Tuson + cash would probably suit them more imo.
