According to the Wigan hater that is Gary Schofield. The Wigan table at the MOS awards dinner didn't clap Rangi as he collected the award. Now of course Gary wasn't there to see it for himself, but rather he was told it by two journos.

I'm pleased for Rangi in winning it, although I think Monoghan should have been in the short list ahead of him, and I lost all respect for MOS awards after the Trent incident.

Sam Tomkins has replied to Big Fatty saying he'd like to know which 2 journo's said that.

I presume young Sam doesn't agree.

Congratulations Sam. You came in the top three of a secret poll of over 300 of your fellow professionals.
Surely if his fellow professionals thought he was a 'niggly' player or was a player that 'gets on players wicks' then he would not have even made the top three.
For what its worth i have yet to see anyone give any concrete examples of what Sam does differently to all the other players, to get on players wicks or what can be classed as niggly tactics.

A video of the awards clearly shows him standing up and clapping... Not expecting the bitter man to apologise after it being him who spread the rumours though!...

Sam won it by a landslide , Roby a distant second , no player has done what he has this season , a threat everytime he has the ball , cant help think the RFL has done it to punish him for the two finger incident , cant remember a payer having such a standout season .

Chase had a very good season aswell , but MOS no chance, a few catalan players have had equaly as good of season as chase

But that's it, you don'y see it!!. Wigan and Saints have been on TV more than Cas and unless you have seen the majority of cas games you can't really comment. The fact that Chase has played behind a pack crippled by injury (especially losing the form prop at that moment in time - Huby), it shows even more why his fellow professionals have voted as they have.

As we all know, Wigan fans can't give credit where it's due and can't stand the fact that "our player from our small town club" is the best player in the country

i think he means they (allegedly) rigged it. I dont see why they would as they aint exactly gonna gain anything are they?

He is a very bitter man and quite a sad case really. even when we were winning 3 in a row he was always having a dig at our club and players, and as a kid I used to enjoy watvhing him play.

Regarding MOS awards, all 3 players had good years. for me roby should have won, but a very close contest with tomkins. Rangi although had a good year was a big shock for the award IMO

The fact he tweeted Sam asking him was it true was cringeworthy to say the least, especially when people posted videos of Sam clapping as Chase walked onto the stage

Im not sure, i know i seen Bilko tweet the video with sam tagged on it. Needless to say fat lad hasnt said sorry, not publicly on twitter anyway despite spreading bull about everybody sat on the Wigan table. Im not sure who else was sat on it but I doubt they would be very happy.
