You are right about both sets of fans having idiots but it will be more Wire as we are at home, but hopefully the club will be fully prepared for this with Police and stewards which i fully expect.

I never have any trouble at games. I've been going to Wire away games for 10 years now and i've never experienced any sort of trouble. I tend to go drinking in the Goose in Leigh or the Legh Arms in Newton before getting the bus down to the ground. Unless you go looking for trouble you more than likely will find no trouble.

I can't see there being any trouble, Wigan fans have usually left and sat at home before the final whistle most of the time

Where as Wire supporters stay for a further half an hour, venting their fustration and throwing season ticlets towards their coach.

Never seen any trouble in the ground at HJ but then again we have never won there! Now I think a Wigan win sat coupled with a few wire idiots beered up and it will be different. Lets face it Wire are happy winning their cup final but to lose it will be different!

We got 1,800 tickets and many Wigan fans have been buying from wire apparently.

Have u never been 2 hull? A few years back when they won the challenge cup the players we're parading the cup but alot of the hull fans ran out to start a fight with wire fans and after a home game a group of hull fans were waitin outside the south stand lookin for a fight altho I think they turned out to be hull city fans. Apart from this I've never seen any fighting so I dnt see the problem

Outside the Kings Head (opposite Central station) a couple of years ago i saw the worst violence ive ever seen at the rugby. Wiganers were walking passed the pub singing (it was after we'd stayed in a good 20 mins after the hooter), next minute the pub tipped out, instead of carrying on walking, a good 50 or so Wiganers decided to stop opposite the group of Wire fans and carry on singing but kind of squaring up to them. It was inevitable it was gunna kick off and it did. A few from each side scrapping in the road and one Wiganer got bottled. In my best Danny Dyer accent it was "proper nawwwttyyyy"!!

Must point out that these Warrington blokes might not have been rugby fans, they may have just been in the pub and fancied a fight. This was an isolated incident and i very much doubt there will be any bother on Saturday. I'm certainly not going with the mind-set that there will be trouble anyway.
