Not in and of itself. A hate incident for example is not considered a criminal act. If I were to be verbally abusive and use race as part of that, then it becomes a hate crime.

Well he will effectively be on trial with the RFL (who make the laws that he needs to abide by) who in order to ban him will have to prove he is guilty of the alleged accusation. So until they are able to do that he is...erm.....what's the word again...........

And the RFL will follow due process. Have the RFL banned him without evidence? Have the crown prosecuted him without evidence? I would say an apology is getting off lightly. When a country still benefits from those actions centuries ago and the ones who suffered are still suffering centuries later I would say damn right there should be an apology. An apology isn't saying people today are to blame but what it should mean is those that did take part in such things are no longer revered or celebrated.

Not sure if its been mentioned on this thread but would have thought Jake Connor may be in danger of missing the quarter final - looked a deliberate high shot to Hardaker plus use of the elbow on the floor a little earlier than that (again on Hardaker). Would prefer him to play as I like seeing the best players on the field but it might be a question mark.
