We already know we lost and we knew the format. Im not saying we deserved anything we havent got because we dont. The system is rubbish though and people shouldnt just lie down and accept things they dont agree with. Imagine if everybody just accepted everything because its here to stay? People will always voice their opinions against things they dont agree with and theres nothing wrong with that.

Losing twice to the same team within a fortnight does though. IMO.

The system is not rubbish - as 80,000+ fans at Old Trafford will testify. I enjoy watching the best clubs in the comp going hammer & tong for the right to be champions. It may not be to everyones liking, and I would certainly agree that the current format (& the abysmal 'club call') needs altering, but the playoffs are here to stay, and are a very valuable marketing tool for the RFL.

I will assume you are merely having a bad day instead of being quite simply, dense.

Beating a team, when it matters, at the key time of the season (which all teams are focused upon) clearly indicates that they are better. Especially given Saints handed you your battys twice in the Play-Off's. Similarly for Leeds to beat Hull, Huddersfield and Warrington in successive weeks indicates they are better than said teams. It's not astro physics given the smart clubs/players will peak at the right time.

But then you know that.

Haven't watched the game back yet, but there was one incident where Lima looked to deliberately twist Lomax's ankle? Anyone seen that or was it something of nothing?

Yup, horrendous incident and Lomax was fortunate he didn't receive a career threatening injury on the back of it. Lima has this in his "armoury" repeatedly. Similarly, Hoffman's frequent high shots should have been dealt with more severely and Tommy L's, leg shot tackles aimed at hyper extending. It's been coached, without question. And it's poor form. Lowest common denominator rugby. For that reason, among many others, I am delighted you beat Wigan.

Christ, this is getting tired. Apparently we are alone in having just about every player aiming to injure every opposition player on every tackle. Tackle round the chest/shoulders? High shot aimed at injury. Tackle round the legs? Aiming at hyper extension to cause injury. Grabbing the ball carrying arm to stop an offload? Attempted chicken-wing to cause injury.

Watch any match, with any team, and you'll see all of the above, but never mind that, Wigan are evil.
