My posts were in the heat of the moment (and bloody hell is there plenty of heat) but I do think Charnley could be at risk. He seems to have made quite a few errors and that was enough to get Goulding dropped so the same should apply for Charnley.

Joel Tomkins is frustrating at centre, but he might be banned for our next game if he's been fighting again. It sounds like Charnley and O'Loughlin might be at risk of a ban too.

McIlorum hasn't been consistent this season and consistency is very important for a hooker.

Finch tends to do several good things in a game and also several bad things. In poor games he'll be bad, in good games he'll be very good but with a few mistakes. I keep wavering between being very impressed and very unimpressed.

I've said it before and i'll say it again the board amins should ban board swapping. Got a very tricky run of Saints away, Hudds home and Leeds away before that game against Cas.

Read my post again - It was a fair challenge I said according to Radio Manchester. If they ran in to join in the fight then they will be in trouble with the RFL. the punishment for that type of thing at present seems to be one or even two matches.

Some tough games coming up for you lot just as we have. June see saints play Leeds ( last night), bulls away, Wigan home and wolves away.

With few of the top four playing each other over the next month or so will shape the league going into the business end.

You should be able to put out a good side without a few of your first teamers. I can't see sam playing in the Exiles match if he has a dead leg from tonight's game.

I dont think you are wrong with any of that. As you say Finch has been improving the last few weeks but Charnley, Joel Tomkins and McIlorum have been poor and make too many mistakes. Players have certainly been dropped for far less and I think those 3 have been very lucky that we have played some poor teams and have been winning fairly easily. Maguire does not like to change a winning team and I think that is what has saved them from being dropped. It will certainly be interesting to see what happens next week but then again with the Exiles match they may get another chance.

Some of the posts on here are embarrassing. We got beat, in a game that was very even for most of the game, by a team who played the best rugby I've seen for many years earlier this season at Wigan.

With a full team at their disposal Catalan will give any team a run for their money.

Maybe Wigan weren't 100% on their game, but that doesn't happen every game, and sometimes you have to accept defeat graciously.

Agreed Rogues !! I listened to the game and it was very even till Catalan scored on the 70 minute mark and then we just fell apart !! but i think we played okay we had a light forward pack today infront of a very physical Catalan outfit !! Well Played Catalans !!

i think far to many people on this forum are more bothered about us losing & warrington winning! and dont they just know it! all the warrington fans on here gloating and stupidly we're rising to it! to me it sounds like it was quite a balanced game, with errors on both sides! we cant of been as bad as were being made out to be otherwise castleford would have ran away with it, and the points margin would of been much larger! we are missing our big props & i think we will find our form when we get our full squad back! and get them playing like the champions we are! just in time to thrash warrington and wipe that smug smile off their faces!

Play that game 10 more times, we'd win 9 of them. Absouletly no penalties second half for us and you just have to say well done Catalan for that! Put's pressure on us though, let's see how we get on.

Never going to be easy winning at Catalans but there has been a number of Wigan fans telling us that once the game in hand is won you'll be top. Surely you expected an invasion of Wire fans when you lost - just as will happen when we lose!

This season is going to the final weekend - I expect we'll lose before the season has finished as will you.

Onwards and upwards. Yes I'm disappointed we lost (so much so that I tuck the dogs out for 2 hour walk to clear my head), but these things happen. We've got some very difficult games ahead, which will undoubtedly show where were at. Two points of top with a game in hand, ain't bad. We've all seen just how well this team can play, I just hope the team begin to perform on a consistent basis and for the whole 80 minutes. Then I'll be happy.
