Its all a little boring now!! Most fans didnt like Phil Clarke before his comments but as stated he isnt a Wigan official or spokesman. The club have just kept quiet all season and just got on with things rather than use the press to make their point or to put pressure on refs to keep their eye out for things!

I suppose the argument would be that Gary Schofield has been an embarrassment to Leeds. Phil Clark, on the other hand, has actually done something with his life, rather than stand in the corner blaming everyone but himself for his lack of success.

We have just got on playing whats in front of us and accepting the hand we've been dealt,and the club as a hole have handled them selves with dignity and professionalism throughout the season , We've not been moaning to the press or the RFL .
No excuses have been needed or used win lose or draw .
But we have put with countless dummy spits , false accusations and a level of abuse form opposition coaches, clubs, press, and fans that one more comment from some who as just signed up to post more abuse at us on here, is just more proof that we're on the way back up and you can't handle it .
Don't forget its you that needs the excuses not us .

When did Phil Clarke become the most respected man in RL? Most leeds fans have been slagging him off for years. Does McGuire or his family give a flying **** what he thinks? Saying that his family had to "inform him" like it was a death in the family is ridiculous. I'm sure he didn't burst into tears when they told him!

Peacock is trying to make it more likely that the game will played the way leeds hope it will. An ill tempered penalty-a-thon with very little rugby between brawls - the RL should step in before any more tripe is spouted by anyone that makes what should be a show piece into a game that is remembered for all the wrong reasons. Let both sides do their talking on the pitch.

Similarly I've no idea why some Wigan fans have taken McClennans criticism as an insult to the warriors.
