I think Warrington will lineup something like that next season.

Michael Monaghan will go back to Australia to afford Myler.
Martin Gleeson and Paul Johnson's wages will cover Ryan Atkins.
David Solomona is a strange signing. Unless they are releasing Paul Rauhihi (whose contract will expire at the end of this season) and planning to use him at prop with Paul Wood.

Should be interesting to see how Richie Myler does behind a better pack. I still don't think he is as brilliant as the media makes him out to be. He has been non existent for the latter half of the season and is terrible in defense.

Or maybe just the 'spirit' of the cap !!!!

Rauhihi is a gonna, he's been poor the back end of the season. Monaghan is staying put. Pickersgill and Penny will probabley go on loan for the entire season next year, so plenty of space on the cap for these new signings.

Don't particularly feel like we've missed out on any of those 3 signings tbh, Atkins is not as good as we've got but is a good signing for warrington, Myler could be class, but not as good as Tomkins and not the type of partner i'd want for him, but again a good signing for warrington.

Solomonas the wierd one, if he's on pittance it's possibly a risk worth taking but would you imagine he'd be on that little?

I'm concerned if Monaghan stays put and is played at hooker. Wire will have a very good squad if this is the case.

I still don't see how Penny, Pickersgill and Rauhihi cover Solomona, Atkins and Myler.

Even if Paul Johnson moves to Wakefield.

But fair play to Wire they obviously have. Balanced their books far better than us to sign talent like that.

The average RL wage is around 65K.

We offered Solomona a big contract when he was at Wakefield and he was one of Bradfords top earners.

Surely he must be on a six figure contract. Could be wrong.

I think if you look at Gleeson and Reardon leaving with only Mathers coming in, I bet they got 100k+ space on the cap from that.

It'd be nice if we could really stuff Salford and manage to prize Ratchford away from them, that would be the partner for Tomkins if I had my way.

Dobson for me, but Ratchford wouldn't be far behind.

Don't think Salford would let both there young halves leave in the same season though, and I just can't see Lenegan paying stupid money like Wire have for Myler. Fair play if they can do it, I just don't feel like lenegan has to.

Fair enough to Wire. They have a very good squad. Not sure how Myler, Briers, Moanghan, Clarke and Higham will work out but they have a lot of quality now.

Clarke and higham will fight it out for the bench hooker spot, 5 fighting for 4 places.

Sure i read somewhere they were considering Clarke at LF, not sure how that'd work though!

True Salford wouldn't let both leave in the same season but you never know about the future, if Ratchford wants to win something then he'll have to leave Salford at some point plus he's a Wigan lad I believe so that might count.

Wire are obviously going on some what of a spending spree, yet if you look at are squad list the number of player we will have leaving at the end of 2010 will mean we may be in a similar position to wire in 12 months time with plenty of money to spend.

I haven't a clue how we will line up next season, its a nice problem for Tony Smith to have.
