These things can go on for months.
Anyone who's been involved in disciplinary matters at work know how long it can take if lawyers get involved. And I don't know in this case if they are.
I know nothing about the matter at all, just have had decades of experience in such matters.
We'll have to trust the club's actions and judgement, from lots of experience, I do.

To be fair, you made a fairly clear statement that the club don't know anything about the Martin Gleeson saga.

If that's just your opinion, then fair enough. But I doubt it. If Gleeson had absented himself from work for this long without any explanation, then he could be sacked on those grounds as well.

I think this is the point. Obviously all of us are fascinated in what's going on, but we don't [ineed[/i to know.

If there is a disciplinary issue that may end up with his dismissal then it is a legal thing that has to be gone through, and that is not something that is customarily done in public.

For all we know the team may have been informed of proceedings, so there is no evidence that this is affecting them in any way.

Let's just assume he's gone and get on with it.

A very sensible way to look at things,and probably what has happened, IMO Of course.
