Joel was petulant and should have walked BUT watch it again and you will see Mr Maguire BITE Joel on his left forearm.

The kick cost us the game. Gifting Leeds two points and we went on to lose by 1. Hopefully Joel realises how badly he let down his team mates tonight.

He should have got ten for it in my opinion. Doesn't deserve a ban though.

Wasn't clever from Joel, that. He's gone steaming in on a few occasions over the last two weeks and he's been lucky not to be given 10mins at the least. There were some big hits from him last weekend, but he's also let himself down.

Not sure where the two spear tackles suggested above were, though. Only tackle that could be considered a real spear was on one of our lads from what I remember.

He's embarrassed us with that. Maguire should have taken him off. Lack of discipline ultimately cost us the game, imo, but that was something else!

Any other ref with a pair of balls would have shown him a straight red, but not a "homer" like that French .

Joels was shocking. Should have gone, and as such should get a ban.

Sam did nothing wrong. Neither Mcguire or Sinfield made any attempt to get their arm out. Sams arm wasn't even clamped down, the ball was the only thing touching the players arms.

Sinfields was a lot worse than Mcguire, he just lay there and didn't make any attempt whatsoever.

Joel deserves a ban.

Maybe a warning by the RFl league this week but IMO should't be banned, he didn't kick him hard.

He does some very silly stuff nearly every week, i bet your coach won't be happy with his silly pens he gives away.

But Tomkins didn't say anything.

What I did see is, if you play that tackle in 'slo mo' that McGuire elbows Tomkins full in the face. And for the rest of the match you can see Tomkins having problems with his jaw.

He shouldn't have kicked out though.

Although he is the most penalised man in the league, its still a pretty strange thing to do. There are some rumours flying around about him being bitten, but I didn't see anything at the time. We'll wait and see.

See nothing has been mentioned about the Leeds spear tackle which went 'on report' again..!

I watched it in the pub on big screen, it looked like danny maguire give him a little elbow in the tackle, can't see how the could have been a bite to be honest.

IMO it was nothing and should be left at that.

It wasn't that bad mate, wigan did one as well. Both was nothing really.

The jaw injury came from when he slipped and knocked on. He fell into Keith Seniors hand, completely accidental. He started feeling his jaw immediately after.

The kicking incident itself probably wasn't as bad as it looked. Deserved a yellow for the action, some ref's may have gave red. Probabaly won't get a ban as he didnt really follow through.

However, Thierry Alibert should be slapped with a wet fish several times. He is consistently an awful referee and needs to grow a pair of stones. The RFL must be able to find a better referee than that idiot in France.

If it would have been a competent ref, it was a yellow card.

And I certainly wouldnt have wanted to be in his shoes when Shaun Wane got hold of him at 14 all!

Refs are too scared to 'ruin' games now a days hence very few reds on show... Was it Bradford vs Hull a few seasons back where Kearney saw Red and Bulls smashed them in what was billed as a great game?

Plain stupid and typical of our game ATM like all the RFL bans they don't want to let big players miss games etc. Sam Barlow fir Fax got sent off and banned by RFL for a similar thing and I have also seen a no hesitation red for this at Uni level... Why should SL playoffs be any different?

After all the fuss of a few weeks ago about Mason lining up Fieldens ankle and standing (not stamping) on it, and calling for a long ban. Is there any difference from the Wigan player, ( maybe Farrel or Tuson) lining up Buderus' lower leg and deliberately dropping his knee on it?
I am neither a Leeds or Wigan fan. I am just trying to provoke a bit of discussion on the subject.
