Would have just been handbags and then get on with the game, until Mason came charging in (and then hiding). That was what kicked off the all-in brawl. That is always taken a dim view of.

mason should of been sent off and fielden should recieve a ban for fighting this it isnt a boxing match we ask all fans to behave themselves yet condone it on the pitch, fact is fielden was fighting,and thats not the sport.

If you watch the close-up replay (the one they show just before Mason is yellow-carded), Mason actually stands on Fielden's foot to stand up, before stamping on his other leg/ankle as he jogs away.

They have been quite lenient with Mason even before he has been up before the disciplinary, he has been charged with deliberately stamping and running in in an aggresive manner to esculate a situation which should be two seperate charges. for him in particular it is the running in which will contribute mainly to any ban he gets as he got a 4 match (I think) ban last year for running in and punching hansen on the back of the head. He ran in on this occasion (then went hiding) when at that point it had nothing to do with him as Fielden was merely pointing the finger at horne and griffin thinking it was them that stood on his foot.
