All that is hopefully irrelevant. Generally, he gave us a fair crack of the whip that day. Here's hoping Ganson does the same.

Whatever our previous opinions on Ganson, it's the best thing we could have hoped for.

Happy with Ganson, the man is clearly the best ref in the competition.

Ganson is the best around and I'm happy with him.
Also happy with Ian Smith as video ref. He's been excellent as VR all season and got both decisions right last Saturday with the l'anson and Gleeson tries.
Good games from both and I reckon they'll be the GF referee & VR.

I might be wrong but I can't see him getting the GF. as he was ref for the CCFinal.

I don't mind that too much.

ThinkGanson has been the best ref in the comp this season,,and if you do go through Saturday i think he could well ref you again @ OT...

As I said in earlier thread , Happy with that, and he will get the final, biggest game needs the best ref, simple.

As far as I am concerned that should not be taken into consideration.

He is the best ref in the comp at the mo, but the problem I always have with him is that sometimes he likes to think it's all about him.

Should keep a lid on the whole Ganson love-in really. Rovers fans in the east stand cheered Silverwood in the warm up on Saturday, and look where that got them!

My Dad used to ref in the St Helens district when Ganson was coming through. He told my Dad that if he ever got to ref Wigan he would make sure every 50-50 call went against us! He's not as bad as he used to be and I'm ok with him now.

I thinks he needs to be impartial to get the chance to ref the grand final the following week

But only in big games. Finals and semi finals.

Ganson is a good referee

He has dropped the whole i'm out to make a name for myself act and has instead become a great referee. Lets hope he doesn't go back to his bad old ways especially on Saturday.

wonder how long it will take for cunningham to try and t wat sam. I think that confrontation could resurface early on. Be interesting to see how Ganson handles it if it bubbles over early doors.
