I totally agree with that, mason should be banned and so should sam tomkins, i seen him stand on hudds players hand but he won't get banned.

Its quite clear that a lot of people hate Sam Tomkins due to him being an awesome talent. I must of the missed the bit where Tomkins held out the Hudds players hand to stamp on it, like Mason did with Fielden's foot. Its embarassing how many people from other clubs are coming on here only to make fools of themselves. At first it was funny, now it is really boring.

I watched the game over again today and had never seen Tomkins stamp on anyones hand... if the accuser could say what min or what part of the game we may actually find it.

I think sam tomkins is a great player, one of the best in the country by a mile, he's got to be one of the first names down for england at the end of the year.

Other fans will hate him, some will hate him as he's a awesome player, some will hate him as he's sneaky niggly player.

Players like tomkins are loved by his own but hated by others.

I couldn't stand paul bishop when he was a warrington but loved him at saints.

I think Tomkins definately did stand on someones hand, but it was clearly accidental when getting up to try and play the ball. Whereas Mason's was cleary deliberate. How anyone can compare the two is a joke, but then again that is what most of the opposition supporters that we get on here nowadays are.

I had previously been under the impression that Mason is nothing but a good 2nd man in. After last night I feel my view has been validated.
The incident at our place 2 years ago gives a good example of this also. Hansen and Griffiths(?) went toe to toe and traded a few. Mason proceeds to run from 20 yards away to punch Hansen in the back of the head.
Same again last night, Mason runs straight in and goes hiding when the punches fly. After he escaped the melee he made no effort to get back in the mixer. Instead he walks away while the brawl continues.
Got no time for this type of behaviour.
Phoney hard man and nothing else. I can never quite understand why he has got his reputation.

He'll have a genuine hard man to hide behind next year in O'Donnall.

Just to change the angle, has anyone considered the real man to blame for his teams actions in the last 2 games against wigan, which he publically said he would instruct his team to do. The sooner that **** goes back to Oz the better.

I confess I haven't seen the incident, but if he has intentionally stood on a Huddersfield players hand then yes damn right he deserves a ban. Acts like that are disgusting and should have no place in our sport.

This seems to be what everyone is forgetting. When we played them at their place after Murrayfield every man and his dog knew what would happen. If Wigan didn't get sucked in then we'd have walked the game. Fact is we did, but still managed the win whereas last night it cost us.

From a refs pov though, surely it should be in their mind what Brown said and know that when Mason floors Leuluai (at their place) that it was blatant and a straight red? It's no different to seeing an incident in the 5th minute between two players and a retaliation occurring 25 minutes later. Blatant and a straight red.

lastnight if played over again would be 30-o up at half time..its just one of them games.

Just glad we go the old Fielden back, fired up making yards, offloads and now no long off put about letting his hands go. Hope the rumours about a new deal is true.
