Lets get behind him tonight. He is back in the cherry and white with our badge on it. He is a Wigan player, I don't agree with what he did but lets give him a great welcome and show we are behind him. If anything it will get him fired up

Agreed, when he was first banned I didn't want to see him in a Wigan shirt again. But he has knuckled down, worked hard and turned things round, IMO he deserves this second chance, I've seen first hand what coke can do to someone. He still has a lot to prove and I think he owes the fans and club, but hopefully he will use that to get himself fired up and do himself justice this time. A short spell with some solid carries and hits would do me today, welcome back Gaz!

Hock is definately bigger..... He was stood next to Coley and looked a lot bigger than he did previously... But he is 2 years older too...

Solid stints from him tonight. It was nice to see him keep it nice and simple.

He has put some bulk on aswell. I don't think a massive amount but some for sure. It's nice to have him back on board.

He did OK. Clearly not match fit yet but he is pretty big isn't he!

Yeah, after two years out he should have scored at least 17 tries in his first game back, get rid! Bloody Mathers/Moran/Riddell/Ratchford/Hock, bring in the kids!

I think it was a great comeback, he did more than what i expected actually, put in some big hits and helped set up sams 3rd try. What more do you expect? It was like he's never been away. Great to have him back.

No that is not true. He was off the pace which is what I expected but despite that he did OK. Call a spade a spade.

Good comeback from Hock, nothing special but after 2 years out he seemed to fit in pretty well. Saw glimpses in that second stint with what he can do with the offload to set up sams 3rd try. Will be interesting to see whether he plays next week. However, this castleford game has come at the perfect time for hocks fitness and general confidence. He will be an asset towards playoff time.

Looked a bit rusty and was blowing hard in the first half but give him time I am sure he will come good.

I would think he will be glad to get that first game out of the way as there was a fair amount of media focus on him and I guess it would have been quite an emotional experience for him too.

Good solid game, played about 30 minutes total I think, which is prety good after such a long layoff. Put in some solid tackles and hit-ups, no penalties, no mistakes (apart from a couple of knock-ons which were forced) and didn't get sent off!

Solid defence and no brain farts for me means hell not be a liability when he's on field over next few week getting upto speed and his attack will come from that

Good to see him back. The offload for Sam's try went to ground, but still helped set up the try, and you could see he was blowing hard at the end.
A good effort for his first game back, and I look forward to more.

I was thrilled to bits with him. Gaz did exactly what he should in that first game back - didn't try his famous offloads (except once when, thanks to Sam's genius, to ended up with a try), didn't try too hard and so give ball/penalties away, just ran it in hard, tackled hard, worked hard to get back onside when third man in. He needs game time, it's the only thing he's missing - he is gym fit, bigger than ever and natural talent doesn't suddenly disappear.
