I think they will play a varried short kicking game to him, he has struggled with the ball on the deck as well, the comments from Potter are i agree with you just the start of the mind games.

I think they will play away from him on downfield kicks and pressure him at every opportunity close to the line with balls on the deck and in the air. I think it will be very interesting to see how he copes and reacts if he does come up with a big error.

Anybody would think he is the only player who makes mistakes....... like carrying the ball in one hand while trying to clear your line and ooops drop ball in tackle, opposition score. Or pass ball in middle of field to opposition player who then runs under the posts.

Potter is just playing mind games, he's probably praying that Noble drops him.

equate to:

"Ainscough set for aeiral bombardment"

Although a headline of "We might kick it to Ainscough" doesnt make as good a story!

The fact that Potter has already even mentioned Ainscough shows that he is worried about his threat. Any coach in his right mind would be with the way he'sperformed this season. 17 tries in 10 is awesome by any standards. come on Nobby, get his name on the team sheet now!

i am assuming that he was asked a direct question in a press conference, rather than just releasing a statement saying stuff about Ainscough.

If anything, Potter may play a completely different tactic now this has come to light. Who knows??

This is true. We didnt get in a position in the Bradford game to worry about putting their wingers under pressure, so another similar performance and Ainscough wont need to worry.
