Wigan have the west stand which is aprox 3,400 and there are a "few hundred" tickets left with just random seats in the "Warrington" stands. Warrington have also been selling tickets (and continue to do so) for the West Stand so it would seem un-likely that Wigan have sold this amount.

I'm suprised that Wigan haven't sold out all their allocation yet (and had a poor support at the semi the other year) yet the other week Leeds fans were slated on here for not travelling in their thousands for a league match at your place on a Friday evening when they were on an apparent hiding to nothing.

Why has this general malaise settled on fans (of all clubs) around the Challenge Cup. This match is the biggest of the season outside of the final itself and the Grand Final and its elimination qualifiers; yet it can't sell out, crazy.

About 300 tickets left with over a week to spare aint that bad at all. The stand will more than likely be sold out next week. Job done.

O don't think you were issued the whole stand though. Warrington have been selling west stand tickets via internet and club shop for at least a couple of weeks.

Im surprised you havent sold out your ends either. If the cup game was at Wigan we would have sold well over 11k tickets to Wigan fans by now.

Yes I think we did as there was some Warrington fans in the rows of empty seats in the main stand near the away end that night.

How many does the away at at the Dave Whelan Stadium hold?

I'd imagine that the cup game will sell out before the day with Warrington selling the remaining west stand tickets.

ps you'll get a decent view from the west stand as there are no stanchions in the way, although not the best view for judging forward passes from - but to be fair that won't stop you anyway.

Oh yes, they've all booked to see 'The Mousetrap', the coaches are full and a couple of thousand are jumping on the bandwagon.

In all fairness theyve promoted a game to get people in. They've shown a humerous side that, looking on here, I didn't know wire were capable of and they've had a pop to get us up for it.

Wiganers are supposed to be known for being cheeky chappy Lancashiremen with a good sense of humor so, just because it's wire, don't let that slip.
