Just watched the full game on Wigan TV. We were pretty poor for large parts of the game, but still managed another remarkable escape act. I thought Josh was poor, and Manfredi much less effective than usual, despite his best efforts. Williams still comes up with some pretty poor plays at times, but I choose to almost look on that as a positive
, the lad has so much talent, with three try assists here, his all-round game can only improve further. it seems to almost go without saying these days that Sutton will have a strong game, and Shorrocks and Bretherton again looked calm and comfortable. Tautai was terrific again, and if this upsurge in form proves permanent, we will have something quite special, and I never imagined myself saying that about him.
