O'Meley had a poor back end to last season as he was playing through the pain barrier as his muscle was actually ripped off from the bone.

Ogre is a beast of a forward. He's not the best in the league, but he's definatley up there.

I could understand (to an extent) the Lauaki signing, but not on a 3 year contract.

3 years isn't taking a punt or a gamble, that's a long term investment on a player who hasn't warranted anything of the sort so far.

I understand the doom and gloom about this signing. I for one am looking on the bright side. The mindset at Wigan is highly professional dare I say more than at Hull, and Wane believes that he can tap into the undoubted potential. From people that I have spoken to I hear that he is rated by our players. So long as his work rate and discipline improves it could be a decent signing.

Wigan were in hunt for a prop who likes to get pi$$ed and can't out run a few over weight police; but they missed out on that one to Wire

You really need to read those stats in the context of actual time spent on the pitch. Which in Lauaki's case, isn't as often as he should.

Very true.

I guess i was just trying to show that using bailey's stats against someone elses to prove a point is a waste of time.

Games played. Baileys defence makes lauaki look daft. And bails is making more meters a game. more meter more tackles. Is our own developed player from the academy. 5 GF rings! That will do me.

He made more Meters and tackles a game and he's Leeds 3rd/4th prop. But as mentioned above his other contributions are massive. Bailey as mentioned by sinfield this week is as a super fit player.

Yep too right. By far one of the most valuable players to a team in SL. The best thing is most fans are too busy pi$$ing and moaning about bailey and saying how crap he is to see what he brings to a team which is very important to an RL team.
