i think last year both your game with saints and your game with us were near?? iirc we were above 22k and saints was 21+, if there was a way to increase those gates then you wouldn't be too far off!

Just remembered - due to unallocated seating in League matches, 10% of the North & South Stand seating must remain empty. There is over a thousand seats to knock off straight away.

See considering Quins don't bring anyone, marketing like that will bring full houses when most of the other clubs come, i really like IL if only he'd been in charge of the RFL instead of Quins or Wigan.

I doubt Heinz/Worthingtons would buy their loyal workers 5k tickets for most matches.

People have literally been brainwashed into thinking that being born in Wigan gives you an inbuilt gene making you want to leave the game early. Wigan are no different to any other club. Its just that Wigan get higher attendances so obviously the same percentage leaving at other clubs is bigger with Wigan.

Its now just become an urban myth up there with nobody in Manchester supports United. Have you ever worked or lived in Manchester? Everybody in the entire city seems to support United.

Well it took me over five minutes from hearing the final hooter to getting from my seat down to the top step of the concourse steps, so it couldn't have been THAT empty.

From my block in the South Stand, I literally saw less than fifty people get up and leave in the final few minutes of the game.....considering that section had over a thousand people in there you can't grumble.

True but I just make humour out of it. Like last year I tweeted "Hull fans are doing the Wigan walk" that night we spanked them 46-0.

A little ironic really for opposing fans to set standards for Wigan fans ..... take Wire for example .... the Warrington directors realised that the club has a small fan base so built a ground with a small capacity.

For the sake of the wider game I just wish fans from some of these other clubs would do a Wigan Walk and actually pay to go into a stadium. The game would then be in a far healthier state .... instead we have two clubs recently in admin., a club in our capital city which rarely draws a crowd above 5,ooo and a derby match between Saints (GF finalists) and Wire (Challenge Cup holders) which just broke into a five figure crowd.

That depends how saints are doing IMO. They won't fill the North stand. Would have sold out last year if they had brought the 6k they brought in 2005.
