What's all this about?
Leeds fans trying to suggest their club has won more trophies than Wigan?
They know they haven't so what the heck are they on about?
Wigan are the most successful club in Rugby League. Wigan fans know it, Leeds fans know it and so do fans from every club.
Leeds won the league three years in a row, well done them. Prior to that they hadn't won it for 35 years and were known as the underchievers. When did they last win the C Cup?
Leeds are a great club with great fans but why they try and suggest they are as successful as Wigan I really don't know!

Even in Superleague Wigan have topped the table more times than Leeds and have never finished as low as 10th in a 12 team competition, unlike Leeds.

I love all this last ten years b@llocks, seems very convenient to me. How about going back just one year? Or RL history as a whole? Leeds fans are making Warrington fans seem reasonable at the moment!

We are only 3 points behind Leeds in the All Time SL Table. Take into consideration 2006 and that Leeds have won the SL title 4 times to our 2, it just shows that we have been far better across SL and obviously even before that. I expect we will overtake them next season too...

Leeds have never been relegated and up to you buying up all the best players and bankrupting yourself leeds had won mroe challenge cups than you 3 more and that was under normal curcumstances.
pre war leeds were in 5 championship finals and lost them some closely when they were favourites.
there is a theory why Leeds were losing championships even the great 30s team much better than wigans 30s team, is that Leeds the recognised aristocrats of the sport it was laid down by the legendary chairman Sir Edwin Airie that they must play like the aristocrats they are ,they had to through the ball about play open rugby ,no standing off side ,stop the game when a player is seriously injured.those 5 pre war championship final defeats could have been wins,but their policy of fair open play impeded them,but there was only Salford and Leeds in the 30s .it was them two who had the best teams.

If you want to be selective with dates, lets go back 10 months and see what Leeds and Wigan have won? Yes Leeds have been the best team in SL for the 3 years prior to 2010. And well done for that, especially for beating Saints in three consecutive finals.

The thing is though, it seems the party is over at Leeds. You have an ageing squad, and a brand new backroom staff. This doesn't look good for the forthcoming season, who knows? You may have a stormer and win it again, but it will take some doing with the massive changes at Headlingley this past winter. Wigan are the top team, at least for the next 10 or so months until we either retain our crown or someone else takes over. We are the biggest club in RL, if we go off last years attendance figures, which prove this. If we go off past success Wigan are the most successful Rugby League club, granted, we've had a bad decade, but, it does appear we are now back on top. With the infrastructure we've got at Wigan at the moment, it will take something pretty awesome to knock us down. We have all the boxes ticked as far as I can see the list could go on and on. The fact is, it does appear Wigan have taken over Leeds as the 'Top Dogs' in SL, how long will this last? Will it be a one year thing? Will it be a new Wigan 'Dynasty' well, we're all excited to find out.

All this bickering is just stupid, it's like kids in the schoolyard saying 'My Dad's harder than your Dad' lets just see what happens this season because i'm supremely confident that Wigan will be 'Top Dogs' once again. Just one man's opinion, but there we go.

And how many championships did Leeds win in those years, surely the test of great team.

At season end Leeds will have 9 players over 30, Wigan will have 7? If Leeds squad is ageing so is yours. Very selective in your opinion.

Leeds were not the first fulltime club ,but that mad spending spree near ruined the club fortunately the best admisistrater ,and visionary came in and made the club best best run ,profitable club in the sport.

Essentially a good and honest post there Biscuits. The only line that raised a smile was that you had taken over from Leeds as Top Dogs. Does one swallow make a summer? Who knows, it'll certainly make for an interesting season, but I've a feeling Warrington may eventually clinch that top spot this year.
