I would seriously consider Pryce-Mathers.

Both clubs deserve first-class water-carriers, and these 2 IMO fit the bill nicely.

To be honest mate I think saints are quietly confident, wire well they just moan, that's what wire fans do best! and no Leeds fan is happy with the start we have made but it will soon be a middle if things don't improve but we arnt panicing. I'm sure all fans wish their team was top I know I do!

Ben Harrison is gonna be a star, but I think he's a second rower not a 13, similar with Fitzgibbon.

Sinfield is the opposite really, he's a half back playing at 13, doesn't have the tackling strength of O'Loughlin.

If lockers was fit he'd be Englands 13 every match, just he's always injured international wise.

I'd take Sinfield anyday. He may not be a 'great tackler' like the likes of 'Ben Westwood or Lockers' but he makes a big difference to Leeds when he's in the team. Not to menshion he's the best Goal kicker in SL.

Meh. I haven't seen anything from him to say he's "going to be World Class". He's a hard working player but makes quite a few mistakes aswell. (From what I've seen)

Lockers has more assists than any other player in SL this season with 11. Thats creative enough for me.

But you don't watch him everyweek. You've seen him twice this season? Wigan and Bradford on sky?

To be honest, i don't watch Wigan that often and didn't see them on friday either because Wire were playing the only time i have seen Lockers this season was against us imo he didn't do alot he wasn't a stand out player certainly. I watched him last season and he didn't do anything for me either but that's just my opinion.

Trust me, if Lockers was as useless as some non-Wigan fans make out, we would be the first to offer criticism - we've done that regularly in the past. But the lad's efforts in recent months have been stirling. Likewise, he wouldn't be one of the first on Michael Maguire's teamsheet every week, if he wasn't doing an awful lot of good on the pitch (even if laymen like yourself can't see it).

You are at least different in that you admit you haven't seen Lockers much and therefore aren't well qualified to comment. But you still sound like a Wire cliche to me.

Lockers doesn't just play for Wigan, he's a born Wiganer, he's one of our captains, he's long been associated with the club through his family, etc (and he's always played well internationally, which is unforgivable to some non-Wiganers), so whatever happens you won't give him any credit.

Well like you say its all about opinions, I try to judge players on the biggest stage, ie test level as superleague level is often poor. We dont have many world class players in this country, but lockers is for my money, he has been outstanding in the internationals over the years, and can be counted along side the likes of Graham, Morley, Burgess and Ellis as our world class players. To be fair I think in a few seasons we will have more to add to that list with Sam, Eastmond and possibly Myler (not seen enough of him yet) which i think we can all agree regardless of team alliances is only a good thing!

However i do see why other fans see him as over-rated, but you can really, really tell when he isnt on!

lockers is one of the very few world class players in SL. Wigans best player IMO.

and sometimes you have to accept that people have different opinions and don't live in a wigan box.

Some have different opinions, which is fine.

Others such as your good self, merely talk a crock of e, .

Lockers is miles ahead of Ben Harrison, but believe me I am a massive fan of Harrison. I believe he will suit prop when he is a little older though. He is not creative like Lockers is, he cannot act as an extra half-back which I believe a top 13 needs to at times.

And others have opinions that are totally Anti Wigan irrespective of what they see (ar as you admitted Don't see) in front of them yet still feel the need to post their Wigan Hate Filled comments about such subjects because they can't help it!
It seeps through in every post, and then they back track & pretend it wasn't a dig in the 1st place!
