Thats nothing to do with our allocation. Warrington did not send the full amount to Wigan, they kept some back to sell themselves. That btw is a very bad move on their part.

Thats asking for trouble if the beer monsters start getting rowdy.

I've no doubt whatsoever a flashpoint will kick off, particularly for this kick off time. It happened in the semi final when a huge Warrington fan attacked a twig like Wigan fan for no reason I could see.

Sad to say but there should be segregation for this match.

Seems its pretty much sold out now according to Wire website. If we have 500 left, does that mean weve only sold 1300? Pathetic if true. However there may be many like me who have bought direct from Wire.

I can't see it kicking off in the ground but you never know as there will be plenty who have been on the beer all day.

Wire fans are always in the West some used to have season tickets in there and some just want to be behind the goals but standing, never seen any trouble in that stand against Wigan or any other club at the HJ

It nearly kicked off in the 'Friendly' in Jan. A wire fan stood right behind me and kept on saying 'That Sam Tomkins is sh8t' every time he got the ball. I turned to him and said "You're having a laugh aren't you" to which he replied "He's sh8t". I prayed that Sam would score or something for the rest of the game. Even more so when Sam later made a lightning fast break and went over the try line to go within an inch of putting the ball down for a try and all I heard from the same fella who'd now moved away from me to a safe distance 10 rows back "See I told you he was sh8t". My prayers came true when Sam made that pass that put us in for our final try of the match. I turned to my new 'friend' to see what he'd say now but he'd trundled away tail firmly between legs. Now there's a good boy. Run along lad.

Indeed. You should have been at Wilderspool back in the mid eighties....now THAT was kicking off. Thankfully those days are well behind us (I hope).

Walk into any mixed section in a Rugby League ground and it won't take you long to come across a gobe. I once got chinned at Swinton of all places - back in the early 90's, I was there stood watching the action and cause I was wearing a wigan scarf and Wigan had scored yet another try the lad to the side of me (Swinton nutter) decided to punch me square in the face!

The worse thing is was the coppers (no stewards at that game?) had been watching him for a while and acted immediately after he hit me and marched him off. Don't think he was amused when I told him that he 'hit like a girl'.

The truth was it hurt like hell, but I wasn't going to him the satisfaction.

Saturday evening KO + Lots of people on the ale early doors + Opening the away end for home supporters = Disaster for this game.

If people think it will be all friendly between the fans (not all) but a minority of numpties more focussed on causing bother than watching the game then your blinded.

I've always been of the opinion that Warrington is one of the very few clubs (Hull KR, Hull) in SL where it's probably best NOT to wear visible colours when leaving the ground after a big game.

Hopefully it's not a full moon on saturday night as well....

Wire have all but sold out of their tickets by the sounds of it, so would expect a fair number in the West as well. Wigan haven't quite sold out of the original 1,800 (sales are just short of 1,600 after selling more than 500 today!) but did get an extra few hundred at the end of last week.

For anyone with the junior vouchers - they do not guarantee entry and need to be exchanged at Wigan ASAP, this game will be a sell out.
