i think the 17,500 includes the 1700 from leeds.....surely its a total figure....they wouldnt just release the wigan figure would they.

If there was 17.5k sold in the wigan end there would only be 2k left for home support which clearly isnt the case as there will be more than that in the home walk up and theyd have surely moved to all ticket to make sure everyone who wants a ticket can get in

Eddie Hemmings it was who said on Boots n All that there was about 2,000 left. I assumed he was taking into account the away stand will be Leeds only which shouldn't be far from the truth.

I could see a similar game to the August one last year when we stuck with them for a while and them they ran away with it.

If that happens I can see the Sky team picking up on the masses of Wigan walkers.

That's a gloomy thought, but not an unrealistic one given that Sky made great play of two Wigan fans leaving the Millennium Stadium early a couple of years ago.

Great marketing idea from Wigan, again. I just wish the clubs who average a lot less would follow suit, as it's a shame theres only 3 clubs who average a five figure gate (Hull, Leeds, Wigan). I hope you do something similar when you play us (Hull) in your last home game as It's usually a good atmosphere when us two play, be it at the KC, or JJB (although we've not had much to shout about at your ground over the years). I'm sure we would bring a healthy following regardless of our league position, and it would be a great way to end the season. Anyway back to the rugby, I hope Leeds trounce you on friday

If theres a decent walk up on the night from both Wigan and Leeds we could be looking at 22,000 imo which is fantastic.

Yeah looking good, we should at least break the 20,000 barrier which would be great anything over that would be fantastic, anybody know what the largest ever attendance is for a Wigan Leeds regular league game.
