| I'm certainly no expert on Photoshop, I've only got an old Photoshop Elements, but thought I'd give this a go!
Two versions - the first in the softer light of the original, the second a bit grittier. I've tried to keep the moodiness of the original. Someone can probably do a better job!

Some great photo's there. Central Park was always my favourite ground after Wilderspool, We always used to go in the Fox and Goose for a few pints before the match. Were the Bramley photographs McLaren Field? If so, I had my first pint there in 1972 aged 15, before a Bramley v Wire RL Cup match.

Epic picture,can you imagine walking out of that tunnel to a packed and noisy central park for the 1st world club vrs manly,it's no wonder the team walked out so slowly their legs must have been like jelly.thanks for the image as it now sits proudly on my desktop |

Fantastic pictures here ....and i also have fanatstic memories of the Bramley and Wigan game and i have it on video somewhere ....in the last 5 minutes of the game when it was 10 all Bramley had an attempted drop goal and from the video and from the players and fans reaction ..it was over a goal apart from the referee who disagreed and that was that ......bitter not me ...what will be will be ..but still a Bramley fan and proud to be so but if we had won i wonder if we still would have our own ground and still been in the pro ranks ............Happy days ...happy away days ..but still tinged with sadness.

Thanks for reviving the memories. I was only young (thirteen), but still remember that we were DAMN lucky to survive a draw!!! That was a lovely little stand and I cherish the photo as much as the others. Please if you do manage to get the video online, please come back and let us know....would love to see it again!  |
