Thought Sam Tomkins was excellent tonight and deserved his chance in the team. Shaun Ainscough is as thick as pig sh*t, despite an intelligant interview.

tough tough game. i think it was obvious that with smith and tommy we were so unorganised. riddell was average again and we looked more dangerous with tommy at 9. for me next week sam and smith at halfs and tommy hooker, riddell off the bench.

being serious though, he played well again tonight, as did sam tomkins, i just hope they play again next week, see how they perform against a team expected to be in the playoffs come the end of the season.

As a neutral I enjoyed the game, the Wigan support after such a poor start to the season was excellent, very vocal and in good numbers.

They deserved the win more than the players.
So well done to you all.

Good result, great performances from ST and SA. Let's not get carried away though, we very nearly lost the game, and the number of mistakes made was shocking.

The ref didn't help the penalty count and the video ref was awful, however, we dropped far too much ball.


Again we look sharper when TL is playing from hooker.

Piggy used from the bench until he loses about 2 stones.

Lot's of options there from the subs bench too with a bit of rotation if needed.

ATT 3883 what a rubbish crowd i thought we took a very good number at least 1,000-1,500 it would have been better if some of the fans decided to sit behind the sticks when the was ample seating at the end of the stand after watching back the highlights on SLS.

Shockin Home support. Excellent away support. I dont know how many other clubs would have took that many fans down there after 3 losses and it being on tele.

I think the low crowd might have something to do with England ru playing at the same time so the Quins fans that are also fans of the RU team would be watching that instead of the RL game.
