I have a confession to make,this Saturdays match will be the first time I have watched Wigan at home since they left Central Park.
I have watched them at Murfield,Wembly and other grounds away( I will quallify the other grounds away statement) I went to the Leigh v Wigan Match in Feb.
I had my reasons for staying away,some travel problems,health problems and political problems within the club.
So thats it confession over,it will be 6.00 pm on Friday in the Goose at Leigh for the Leigh v Leeds Match.
Saturday 11.30 am train for the Wigan vSaints match
Sunday out for lunch for my mothers 101st birthday party.
Should be quite a weekend,maybe I will see some of you on my travels. Cheers.
I know that by now there is proberbly not a dry in the house, but do you think if IL saw this he may come up with a free complementary season ticket for the rest of the season.'"
Maybe if you didnt say that last bit it would maybe have happened  but not now 
Enjoy the weekends games and hopefully theres a superstitious eement to the game on sat ie if we lose dont go back/if we win we;l all chip in on these boards and get you a season card.
As for food i think rogues is the best recommendation as i know he knows his food nevermind his rl knowledge... and yeah the crisps in the anvil are 2nd to none

I shall be going in the Goose before the game hoping to see Ian,Salford Lad and I am not certain if it was Roman Warrior or Charlie who was at the table with us in Feb.
I have my ticket in the West Stand which I think as a section of the stand reserved for V.I.Ps(Wigan Supporters).
I will be in about 6. |

Conroy I have just realised the confusion I am causing ,the three pubs you mentioned have all been spoken about during the last few days.
Therfore when you posted Revolution,Weatherspoons and Mortimers,I thought (wrongly)that you where asking me had I made my mind up yet.

We went in the Robin few weeeks back and it wasn't especially busy but we waited almost 50 minutes for the food to come and to add insult to injury it was cold and very ordinary, filled the get in touch form in on their website afterwards and they didn't even reply so we've voted with our feet. F&B's is fine and is only just round corner from the stadium
Re you getting a free ticket from the club think you are more likely to get an invoice for all the games you have missed
Hope your Mother has a great birthday - also hope she is a Catalan fan and see's them get a good victory on the day! |
