purchased my tickets when they where first released for season ticket holders, does anyone know wether the price will go up or down when the rfl release them?

Better not go down, cost me £80 for our 2 seats in the Boston Stand ( East ), price should stay the same.

No, Wigan dont get access to all the tickets, as this isnt a Wigan event its an RFL event.

How many have been sold?

Went down yesterday morning to purchase a family ticket for four in the South stand looked at the seating areas must have been three quarters sold, got tickets in row L just left of the post.

The ticket system at the RFL isn't up to the standards of the Wigan one with specific seat choosing...

they're crafty too. i asked for tickets in the central block - South stand (i forget the block number) and it offered me tickets two blocks away. a none regular at the PieDome may have been fooled by it and thought the seats where in the central block...

I repeat what I said when it became apparent that the RFL were sticking by their ticket price system. The whole thing will be one big feck up. It started off 'Oh so well' with even the Dragons not even confirming they were going to even play the match when ticket had gone on sale.
The RFL seem to have taken a large chunk of tickets off the club and are selling them through a very vague seating system were you are just happy to get them in the same block.
Then theres the pricing structure and whilst I believe the North and South stands will sell out, due to the over pricing of the West and East these will not!! Ill go for 18-19K!!!
This game deserves to be a sell out but due to the incompetence once again of the RFL it sadly won't.

I ordered my tickets from the comfort of my sofa with ease. This isn't good enough for you? Do you expect a personal invitation to the stadium, a limosine to provide the travel, and to be carried up to the stand of your choice to select your pew?

And if you are that bothered about where you sit, have the confidence to come out from behind your computer monitor and use the telephone to order your tickets, I'm sure they can accomodate your precise requirements there.

That's a tad unfair.

I can agree that the pricing will put people off, but you have the choice of 2 vendors to buy tickets for, and 3 different ways to purchase them.

Only a small section of the East + West Stands are ridiculously over-priced, and there are some seats for £25 in those stands which isn't unreasonable I don't think, considering the game in question.

If it's anything less than a sell out, then the fault lies with fans and not just with the RFL.

I'm more than happy with paying £30 to watch this showpiece match, on top of my travel and accomodation. Maybe with it being in Wigan, you don't see it as a big occasion like I do.

Where does it say in my post that I havent ordered my tickets yet? Got my tickets on the 2nd day of sale. My point is WIGAN fans that usually use the club e-ticketing service can find the precise seat they want to sit in (if available) yet because the RFL ARE taking control of certain blocks of the stands, people cannot precisly choose which seat to sit in, its pot luck what the RFL seating system throws at you.

Obviously you have great confidence in the RFL unlike 99% of RL fans in country. If im not mistaken youre a Quins fan, right? Maybe thats why your sucking upto the RFL as theyve not half looked after your weasely little club over the years.

Its not pot luck if you call them up, or buy online through Wigan, or call Wigan or go to the ticket office at Wigan. Some people moan at everything. If people want to go, they will go. They almost fecked up the WCC by announcing it before the Dragons had even confirmed they'd play in it.

The RFL should hand over control of the WCC to the clubs that are in it, they know their fans far better than some suit in Redhall. Do you not think this game would be far better run by our marketing man at Wigan? I sure do.

Off course it will, but it still doesnt change the fact that its not a Wigan event. Your complaining that the RFL have taken tickets, which is just stupid seeing as its an RFL event. You make it sound like its difficult to get tickets, just because the RFL dont have a system whereby you can pick the seat online. They never have yet we all seem to manage getting Wembley, GF, International tickets just. Your already saying it wont sell out and that its the RFL's fault, which again at this stage is just ridiculous.

I bet you would blame the RFL if it didnt sell out but praise Wigan if it did. Im no fan of the RFL but your bashing of them on this topic is abit bitter. As I said before if this game doesnt sell out, its because of the fans not the RFL.
