True! I do love the song. I think we just need more variation in general really. It would be easier if we had more big away trips so people could pick them up better. Most people don't bother trying to join in though.

These where the first names that came into my head! I like the one we sing now but they are all past players. We could also use the simple ones like;

although "alright" is an understatement

We could do that na na na na na na bit of that song for many players in the Wigan team. For example...

Martin Gleeson Wigan's number 3
Georgy Carmont Wigan's number 4
Stuart Fielden Wigan's number 8

But I think it would be better if we went through the whole team starting from Phelps at 1 to Lockers at 13. I think it would sound great and would be a song that would last a good few minutes.

However I would need someone else to start it as I dont know many other Wigan fans

you cant get a whole bunch of people learning and singing new songs.........doesnt happen mate.

the singing usually starts with the same few guys and gals and spreads.
if they only know 4 songs, then fine, lets sing em.

songs at footy and rugby arnt made up and rehed , they are spontanious, and im sure that sometime in the future the same crowd who start the singing will come up with summat new.

when i was a kopite in the 70s all we got was eeh aye adio, etc. When did you last hear that? times and songs change. Go with the flow.

I agree. IMHO "Oh Campione" has no relevance. I think it should be "Oh Wigan Rugby" as it fits in and goes with the second line "we are the Warriors".
