The craziest part of it is there is a decent portion of Aussie fans who seem to defend it. I've seen loads of comments about it just being the lads on a wind down enjoying themselves, it's part of the common culture in oz for men around there age. Absolutely mind blowing!

It's a big problem in that age group over here in the UK aswell, but i'm glad we see it as worthy of a harsh punishment since it is illegal, rather then insanely slack ones like 1-2 match bans. Players are getting longer bans for accidental high shots!

Really? Snorting a dangerous substance as a role model and being quite brazen about it too and he shouldn’t cop a ban? If it was up to me they’d have lifetime bans from the sport. There is no excuse for putting that up your nose. No excuse for a supposed role model to do so either and be so brazen about it. Cocaine fuels debt, fuels depression and, I have had personal experience here, fuels suicide due to dealers coming after you for money. Not mentioning what it actually funds higher up the chain.

Give them lifetime bans. I guarantee it’ll stop immediately.

If the club are looking for a Stand Off, it is not looking good about the signing of Jai Field who last season was not only given the number six shirt but hardly played because of injuries and was expected to play in that position this season.

With the above and the club being unable to sign Jacob Miller, it might explain the recent decision of Tommy Leulaui to carry on playing for another season.

I thought we'd left the 'make it up as you along' tactics behind? Field just hasn't had a shot thus far, has he? I wasn't the biggest fan of his signing, but it's crazy to write him off.

Nobody has said anything about writing him off, only what position has he been signed to fill!

Let's just say a certain halfback that wasn't deemed good enough for Saints, Leigh or Cas is at Robin Park as we speak

If we do sign Richardson I think its a real failing from the club & very underwhelming.

It is probably a result of:

1 - Missing out on other targets (Although no concrete rumours on this)
2 - Failed plans for Smith and Field partnership
3 - Mis-managing our overseas quota

It’s an option that just feels pretty pointless to me. It won’t appease the fans, it won’t excite anyone, we don’t really need a gamble player because we have three halves as it is, so we need a ready made starter and other than goal kicking, he provides nothing we haven’t already got.

If it’s the best we can do, don’t do it and sit on the money. I think people would be more understanding of that. Try and strengthen other areas as best we can to negate the need for a top class half as a fall back option.

As ever though most of us don’t know the facts and the club could be laughing themselves at these rumours. I really think they should be.
