The question now is what happens next. We always seem to be good at this level but then these lads fall away when they get into first team rugby.

damn, if only they had dropped him as you suggested, someone else could have won MOM. Those selectors know nothing.

Fair play to Rhys, I thought he was shocking on Saturday. Sign of a good player though to comeback in less than a week and put in a MoM performance.

It has been an issue since around 2002.

Just got back home. It was a VERY enjoyable game, well worth the £3 admission fee.

Attendance 980. Pretty good atmosphere as we were all sat in the one stand.



The Wigan lads all played well I thought, especially Sam Powell in the first half (great 40-20 and a well taken try), Danny Bridge was very strong as well.

Other notable mentions were Rhys Evans, his only error was in the first few minutes when the Aussie scrum half left Evans in no mans land on a running arch, which led to the the Aussies taking the lead 4-0. Also thought our props Burgess & Krasniqi played very well.



England were always in control of this game, even having a try disallowed for a forward pass when we were 26-4 up. That would have killed the game off, but the touchjudge thought otherwise.



Might have to take in a few Academy games at Orrell next season cause I really enjoyed it!

Evans was superb

Our forwards just barrelled over them in both games. Dominated in defence most of the game.

Just out of interest for anyone who went, how did Reece Lyne go because i read that he was poor last week as well.
