We’ve just gone 19m off a set. Got a sore neck from shaking my head for the entire game.

My views on Lam have never changed really. We do just enough in the run of the mill league games to get results to finish top two and then more often that not, we do this in a proper game.

The recruitment in the front row comes hugely in to focus again but this has been far more than just that.

We’ve had some poor front row performances in the recent past but today has to be up there for one of the worst we’ve ever seen from a collective.

Apart from Bateman and Bibby (who have been average) I would say everyone else has either been poor or worse.

Hastings had been non-existant and Powell has gone backwards from last season when he looked a decent player, as for the forwards just not good enough.

The discipline and rugby sense have both been awful, we must be the dumbest team around.

Just cannot perform when it matters.

Lam can’t be blamed for this. The game has been lost by stupid and/or careless individual errors. Byrne at the start of the game. Hardaker and French dropped balls on tackle 1. Smithies late hit on the kicker, this list goes on.

We continually gave them ball in good positions and forced ourselves to repeatedly start sets to clear our own line.

That last play sums up the game for us.

For me, next week we go Hardaker to centre and French to full back. We look more dangerous that way.

Undoubtedly the pressure is ramped up on Lam now.

To keep his job we must win SL it’s that simple.

It’s a very disappointing performance and to be fair Lam isn’t out there making basic errors that are totally uncharacteristic.

Byrne and Hardaker have been shocking on key plays. Smith awful on last tackle plays.

A coach cannot predict some of the individual errors that have happened today.

If Isa doesn’t drop that basic catch and pass that he has been nailing all year on the last play we go to golden point extra time.

It’s SL or bust now for Lam, gallant runners up isn’t good enough now.

Amazing how good Bateman looked last twenty, when he was allowed to play like he played at Canberra.

Hull really haven't had to do anything special today. Wigan are no threat if we can't get into their half.

Winning run of the mill league games by 2-6 points playing dire rugby isn’t enough.

“We weren’t Wigan tonight” Lam says. We were exactly what we’ve been more often that not under Lam in big games.

Smith needs to be our kicker for the rest of the season, we are under constant pressure every game because of Hardakers poor kicking and smith just casually slots one over from the sideline under pressure.

We need to start looking at getting a new coach next year, too many big games bottled under Lam

That was truly awful but for me you cannot blame Lam for the individual errors that were made all game and cost us, it’s probably testament to the team spirit that we even had a chance of winning with a minute to go.
Also Hardaker had a shocker but it’s not really his fault he’s our designated kicker, he’s never been a regular kicker at any other team and I’m loathed to give him too much stick after the season he had.
Really tough one too take but I don’t think it’s possible to play much worse than that and we still actual had a chance of winning the game with a minute to go against one of the better teams in the league,

IL and Rads (if he doesn't get moved on as well) need to be shopping around now, not waiting to see if we win the GF.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Lam is out of his depth.

This should be the reckoning now for this team. I don’t want to see Bateman being asked to perform a role for ‘the good of the team’ when he should be playing a role that suits him because he’s that good. The young lads will always lack size, they aren’t going to put on 2 stone and increase their power output to turn us into consistent winners. We need big bodies. I’m frustrated with Lam, have never been a big fan of his but we’ve been mis-sold/blatantly lied to by Radlinski who seems to sit in an ivory tower, untouchable for the decisions he makes and how the squad has been shaped. We aren’t entitled to win anything but I think as fans we are entitled to see action in how the squad is structured instead of hiding behind a ‘Wigan-born first’ mentality. Enough is enough now.

Lam can’t be blamed for this? Really? Another big game bottle job in a long list of bottle jobs in Lam’s teams yet he can’t be blamed? Good discipline breeds good discipline, likewise with bad discipline. Week in week out you see snippets of poor discipline, hitting the kicker late (I mean WTF?). He should be on top of that but he isn’t; going for 2 30m out with Hull on the back foot and then MISSING? WTAF?

It’s SL or bust for Lam IMO. I don’t begrudge Hull a win here, if we’d played wel and still lost fair enough, it happens. But it’s the manner of the loss, the lacklustre play the abhorrent discipline. It’s tough to even start to be honest.

However that last line - 1million% needs to happen.
