We need to be careful about bumping this thread....remember last year our defeat to Leeds prompted mass celebration in Wigan and then they lost to Saints the next day.

I have a nasty feeling that the Saints are going to do us and its going to be a Leeds v Saints final again, with Leeds winning.

In no way confident about tonights game. I have heard rumblings AGAIN in the rugby media that the playoffs will become a joke if either of the top 2 sides are not at the GF. The same comments were heard last season and once again the RFL will do sod all about it. Could it be Warringtons year? Well this year is probably the best chance ever as the club have deliberately gone out to have players fit for the play-offs. Thats why we surrendered that mickey mouse trophy wigan so highly claimed this year

The wolfs photo is an all-time classic, a bit embarassing for us Wire fans in general. The butt of all the jokes, Wolfs etc etc, blah, blah, blah.....and then this corker popped up.

There's also the one of a group of your fans pictured around a drum as a publicity piece ahead of the game where Wire fans were supporting Catalans against Wigan, I think it featured in the local paper. I could post a link to some excerpts on here of that photo - sadly I don't have the full pic any more - but it caused such upset to Wire fans because it provoked a storm of jokes and abuse in relation to the people involved (who were very upset about it) that it probably wouldn't be right to post it. But everyone who knows the photo I'm talking about will be chuckling to themselves, it was hilarious..
