Another interesting point from those stats are Fieldens tackles/missed tackles/marker tackles and tackle busts which are far more impressive than Grahams, but don't seem to get recognised.

If Fielden does go i do think we would need to replace him and if Coley goes aswell it would leave us seriously short in the pack. Lima, Prescott, O Carroll, Davies and a bulked up Mossop and returning Hock is far from a contenders front row with McIlloram and Tommy.

Given both our coaches' and the 3 signings personalities and character traits, I find it unlikely in the extreme.

He's settled very well in Aus, and won't be coming back anytime soon.

In the space of just over an hour he has gone from us signing Luke Burgess and LMS to James Graham and Sam Burgess.

Souths man of the match on a weekly basis by all accounts and is meant to be loving his time over there.

He'll come back to superleague when he's about 28/29 imo so only another 8 years or so to wait.

This isn't intended to knock Fielden, I think he has been fantastic this year, however, we have a team full of good tacklers (Hansen, Joel, O'Loughlin, Coley) but we are lacking a prop who takes the ball up enough, that's where the emphasis should be for our squad in my opinion.

That's what Lima does. He's a Puletua-type ball-carrying prop. Hopefully he'll be as successful for us as Puletua has for Saints. Hoffman carries well too so we'll improve a lot in that department next year

Feka is still the best go-forward prop in the current squad

There are only so many hitups going per game, where does it help us to load them more onto one player?

Fielden does take the ball in, but surely with a better a pack around him he wouldn't need to take it in more as Lima et al. will take that extra pressure off him.

To me aswell he seems to give silly penalties or knock ons in crucial moments of the game.

He gets targeted in the big games. Simple as.

Other teams recognise that he is still out best prop, they tried to force him into the errors in the Leeds match with three men rushing him everytime, but he usually bounced off or managed to get a pass away. Unfortunately against Wire he was near enough our only prop, therefore they could put all their effort into forcing errors from him and not having to worry about anyone else.

The Maguire hit was just blindsided, caught him off guard, good hit by DM though.

28 is no age for a prop these days. I can't see Wire letting him go though, especially to us. He's played well for them this year, probably their 2nd best prop after morley

Always seems to be hurt IMO. Probably been a pro for 10 yrs - how many games has he played?

He was in the last Wire team that beat Saints, he must be 102 at least.
