would like to add, i think this post im making is a load of sh it but a member of the trinity ambassadors board told me they are sniffing round sam tomkins. cant ever see us letting him go, but it worried me about maybe letting him go on loan. this was last week when sam was dropped. cant see any truth in it tbh, imagine the backlash from fans.

Yep I'd say Sam is a Number 7, we'll be on the hunt for a half back, being a Lockyer/Orford or Anasta, either of them three would fit the bill quite nice in my opinion.

We'll sign none test, none state representatives again like Roberts and Riddell again imo because they'll cost less then the rep players but obviously aren't as good.

It's very unlikely any ESL club will ever sign a current Aussie/SOO rep player anyway but given the salary cap its next to impossible.

It's a very closed market in RL for players anyway. None of the best Aussies will come to Britain until the end of their careers, and there is hardly any movement of any real quality between SL clubs. Maybe one big move a season.

Indeed. So let's go for Brett Kimmorley. He is 30 this year and is not going to be selected for any more rep football. He is a great organiser and short kicker, which is what is required at the moment. PLus at his age and in his current situation, we would have a good chance of getting him.

Hes our best full back. I dont see many full backs on the market so he is worth keeping.

It's going to be impossible to improve every area of the team for next season imo and fullback isn't a priority imo.

Whilst i wouldn't call Phelps superb he's been very good at fullback and is easily good enough to play that position in superleague. He's worth signing up for at the very least another year.

I think one thing they need to do with Phelps is rid him of this utility tag. To me he's an out and out fullback, he's looked nothing but average in other positions yet has always been very good at fullback.

Not worth a quota spot though imo.
