Always difficult times for people like me, this. Had to move away from Wigan for work reasons and therefore it wasnt practical to get a season ticket, although I have attended almost half of the home games this year. Would like to get a ticket for the big games like this one obviously but I guess its just a case of fingers crossed that some will be available on Friday or maybe a private seller.
Of course I agree that season ticket holders should have priority but its still difficult for the fans who dont have one but not because they're any less of a fan of the club.
I'm sure it will be a great atmosphere but if demand is as it should be for this game (i.e. through the roof) then surely the RFL will look at more ambitious venues next time. Who cares if theres a few empty seats, more tickets sold = more money for rugby league.

Thats why I bought one of them Ancient and Loyal memberships at the start of the season. I thought at the time it was quite expensive at £30, but then when I got the half price tickets for MM and £1 off tickets for home games and other free gifts it didn't work out too badly. Also I can buy tickets for the semi-final a day before they go on general sale, which makes it all very worthwhile.
Saying that though I managed to get 3 tickets today through friends with season tickets, but I do have 2 spare Ancient and Loyal memberships that can be used tomorrow if anyone wants tickets. |

If those memberships you mention were going free and you didn't need them for anyone else, I'd be over the moon if I could borrow them tomorrow (I assume they're client codes in a similiar fashion to season ticket holders?). Apparently Saints have also been told they can have some extra tickets in the East stand if they need them. (8k and 5k will only leave 24 tickets for the RFL bods and they still have some held back for the East stand. |
